Hello, I’m Kubilay Yusuf Mert

I’m Kubilay Yusuf Mert, born in 1985, a husband, a father of two, and someone who has always been curious about how things work and how I can become a little better at what I do.

My journey with technology, artificial intelligence, and digital learning didn’t start with the idea of becoming an expert overnight.

It started with curiosity.

I wanted to understand how new technologies actually work, what they can really do, where their limitations are, and—perhaps most importantly—how they can be used in real life.

That curiosity eventually became a habit.

Today, I spend a significant part of my time learning, researching, testing AI tools, exploring new technologies, and trying to turn what I learn into useful information that other people can actually understand and apply.

Why I Started FirstEvolveNextScale

FirstEvolveNextScale was created from a simple idea:

Learning shouldn’t stop when you finish school.

Technology changes constantly. New AI models appear, new tools are released, software development practices evolve, and skills that were valuable a few years ago can quickly become outdated.

Keeping up with all of this can feel overwhelming.

I’ve experienced that myself.

Sometimes you can spend hours trying to understand a new technology only to discover that the explanation you found was either too technical, too superficial, or written more to promote a product than actually teach something.

That’s one of the reasons I wanted to create FirstEvolveNextScale.

I wanted a place where I could document what I’m learning, share what I’m discovering, and explain technology in a way that feels practical rather than unnecessarily complicated.

Learning Through Practice

I’m particularly interested in Artificial Intelligence, AI tools, software, digital education, design, marketing, and personal development.

But I don’t want to simply collect information about these subjects.

I prefer to test things.

When I discover a new AI tool, framework, workflow, or technique, I try to understand how it behaves in practice.

Sometimes it works exactly as expected.

Sometimes it doesn’t.

And sometimes the most useful lesson comes from discovering why something failed.

That’s the kind of experience I want to share here.

You may see articles about AI agents, local LLMs, AI workflows, automation, software tools, emerging technologies, UI/UX design, digital education, or other areas of technology.

The common thread is simple:

I want to understand these subjects better, and I want to make that learning useful to someone else.

AI Certifications and Continuous Learning

Artificial intelligence has become one of the areas I spend a great deal of time studying.

I’ve completed several AI-related certifications and continue working through courses, training programs, and practical projects to expand my knowledge.

I’ll share my certifications below this section because I believe they should be visible—but I also don’t see certifications as the final destination.

A certificate can show that you completed a course or demonstrated knowledge of a particular subject.

It doesn’t automatically mean you’ve mastered everything.

For me, the more valuable part is what happens afterward.

Can I actually use what I learned?

Can I build something with it?

Can I explain it clearly to someone else?

Can I recognize where the technology works well—and where it doesn’t?

Those questions are much more interesting to me than simply collecting certificates.A Father, Husband, and Lifelong Learner

Outside technology, I’m a husband and a father of two.

Being a parent has probably influenced the way I think about learning more than I expected.

Time matters.

You can’t spend every waking hour experimenting with another technology or following every new AI announcement.

There has to be balance.

That’s one reason I appreciate practical learning so much.

I don’t want to learn something simply because it’s trending.

I want to understand whether it is actually useful.

Being a father has also made me think differently about the future of technology.

The technologies we’re learning about today will become part of the world our children grow up in.

AI, automation, digital education, cybersecurity, software, and emerging technologies aren’t abstract subjects anymore. They’re gradually becoming part of everyday life.

That gives me another reason to keep learning.

What You Can Expect From This Blog

I’m not here to pretend that I have every answer.

In fact, you’ll probably find me questioning some of the things I previously believed as I learn more.

That’s intentional.

Technology moves too quickly for anyone to know everything.

Instead, I want FirstEvolveNextScale to be a place where I can share:

• Beginner-friendly technology explanations
• AI tools and workflows
• Software and development insights
• Digital education resources
• UI/UX and design ideas
• Technology trends worth paying attention to
• Lessons from things that didn’t work
• Personal observations from continuous learning

Whenever possible, I want to explain not only what something is, but also why it matters and how it can actually be used.

If I test something and discover that it’s not worth your time or money, I’ll say that too.

I don’t think every new AI tool deserves attention simply because it’s new.

Why I Keep Learning

One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that you don’t need to know everything to make progress.

You just need to keep moving.

Learn something.

Try it.

Make mistakes.

Research again.

Try something different.

Then share what you discovered.

That’s essentially the approach I take with FirstEvolveNextScale.

I’m still learning.

I’m still experimenting.

And there are plenty of subjects I don’t fully understand yet.

But that’s part of the reason I enjoy this journey.

Curiosity gives you a reason to start. Practice teaches you what actually works. And sharing what you learn gives that knowledge a second life.

A Place for People Who Want to Keep Growing

You don’t need to be a developer.

You don’t need an advanced technical background.

And you certainly don’t need to understand every new AI term that appears online.

That’s the kind of person I’m trying to be myself.

A husband.

A father.

And someone who enjoys discovering useful things and sharing them with others.
